Brink’s has always been known for transporting and protecting values. In today’s age, values include data as well, especially personal data, and like any other value, Brink’s is committed to provide the highest level of protection when handling such personal data, whether from Brink’s employees or from customers, vendors or all third parties in relation with Brink’s.

Data protection has become a business issue these last few years with high expectations from our customers in relation to new legislations like GDPR in Europe, CCPA in the US, LGPD in Brazil, etc. It has thus become one of the mission from the legal team to support the business and the other functions (IT and HR being the first in line) on data protection matters.

I have been appointed Data Protection Officer (GPDR) for The Brink’s Company on May 25, 2018, the day GDPR came into force.

Most of our country of operations in Europe have a local data protection officer ("DPO") as well.  You can find our list of DPOs and other resources below.
