Trademarks
A trademark is generally a word, phrase, symbol, or design, or a combination thereof, that identifies and distinguishes the source of the goods or service (i.e. service mark) of one party from those of others.
At Brink’s, we distinguish between global trademarks and country trademarks. Global trademarks are owned and protected by Brink’s Network, Incorporated and are licensed to our local affiliates for use in their countries. Country specific trademarks are owned and protected directly by our country affiliates. All new trademarks require approval from Global Marketing and Global Legal and must comply with Brink’s Brand Guidelines.
Currently, Brink’s Network has registered and is owner of the following trademarks, known as "word marks", in 138 countries or jurisdictions:
BRINK’S
BRINK’S COMPLETE
BRINK’S HOME SECURITY
COMPUSAFE
As registered trademarks all design variations of the above are protected.
We also have a number of protected logo or design marks, including the following PointCash logos.
We actively monitor registration of new trademarks to ensure our word and logo/design marks remain protected. If you see potentially improper use of one of Brink’s trademarks or use of a mark that could be confused with a Brink’s trademark, please contact us.
